Born and raised in Askole village at the edge of the Baltoro Glacier, Hassan Askole has over thirty years of high altitude mountaineering leadership. Starting as a porter, he progressed to sirdar and expedition leader for international climbing teams on K2, Broad Peak, and Gasherbrum, before founding Indus Trekking to provide direct, ethical ground logistics.
